The walls of Antibes start changing face this Saturday. The seventh edition of the Coul’Heures d’Automne international urban art festival runs from 17 to 31 October 2026 in Antibes Juan-les-Pins, with mural performances, exhibitions and workshops spread across several neighbourhoods. Launched in 2020 and initiated by the Label Note association, which also runs La sChOOL, according to its official website, the festival has become a fixture of the Riviera autumn; its sixth edition, in 2025, notably took over the Antibes hospital, the Centre hospitalier d’Antibes.
The opening day takes place this Saturday 17 October at La sChOOL, the Antibes urban art and music centre, according to the programme relayed by Monte Carlo Living. It marks the start of the new mural performances and the presentation of an artwork created on an urban transport vehicle.
Seven walls, seven worlds
Côte d’Azur France Tourisme announces eight invited artists for this edition. WebtimeMedias details the geography: seven mural interventions, plus the renewal of the M.U.R. d’Antibes. The Dutch artist Marcus Debie, known as GOMAD, will paint at Square Garbero, on boulevard du Val Claret, his meticulous frescoes filled with birds, flowers and figures. Marseille artist DIFUZ, a graffiti figure since the mid-1990s, will take over Voie Lyan with his Mediterranean scenes in motion, and Chilean artist Piero Maturana will settle on avenue Philippe Rochat.
Again according to WebtimeMedias, KOGAONE, from Metz, will work on rue Vauban in a style mixing photorealism and expressionism, ADOR and his burlesque creatures will set up on rue de l’Église, Toulouse artist DEBZA, fed on manga and horror cinema, will paint on rue Henri Laugier, and Jordan Harang will work at the Hôtel Le Collier, on boulevard Général Vautrin, with a painting drawn from quantum physics.
A changing wall, a rolling bus
Two interventions step outside the classic mural frame, according to the same report. At the Guynemer school, Nadège Dauvergne will create the fifth renewal of the M.U.R. d’Antibes from 21 to 25 October, an 18.2 square metre structure inaugurated in November 2024 that changes artwork every six months. And on the road, La sChOOL resident artist Ma2thieu Long will dress the 18 metres of a new articulated Bus-Tram on Envibus line A, which links Antibes to Valbonne Sophia Antipolis and will run all year.
The festival finally continues at La sChOOL. From 19 to 31 October, six Riviera artists will renew the annual exhibition “Ici les artistes ont fait le mur”, and a Shop Coul’Heures will open for the whole festival to present the programmed artists’ creations, again according to WebtimeMedias. For its part, Côte d’Azur France Tourisme recalls the founding principle of the event: putting creation into public space, meeting residents and visitors, and turning everyday places into ground for expression.
